My infusion treatments at NeuroGlow have been truly life-changing. If you’re feeling stuck or unsure where to turn, I highly recommend giving NeuroGlow a look. The entire team is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. From the first call I had to my last treatment, my questions were answered and concerns validated. 500 out of 5 stars!

I love this practice! I am receiving the Esketamine aka Spravato treatments through my insurance at Neuroglow for C-PTSD and to help alleviate symptoms of Functional Neurological Disorder (Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures). The nurses that worked with me as a patient were very kind and thorough. I instantly picked up that they genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing. Neuroglow definitely set the bar and standard very high. They are positively different from other practices in the DFW area that offer similar services. Highly recommend!!

I've suffered with a severe chronic neurological pain disorder for several years, and all other drugs(dozens) and even brain surgery were unsuccessful at best. After hearing about ketamine therapy from my Dr, I did a lot of research, and a LOT of calling and emailing to try to find a place where I could get access in Oklahoma, where I live. I wasn't able to find anything in the state, so I expanded my search to Texas. I found NeuroGlow right away, among others. NeuroGlow stood out for 2 big reasons: First Responder discounts, and the website that gave multiple points of contact, and answered most all of my questions. After 5 treatments with NeuroGlow, which entail me driving over 500 miles, getting a hotel, and 2 uber rides per treatment, I was finally able to find a pain management clinic that does ketamine in Oklahoma. It only took 2 treatments with them, before I was again willing to drive the 500 miles, get a hotel and 2 ubers. That's how stark the difference in care and therapy is. The Oklahoma clinic was rude and indifferent to my requests that I be given the same dosage I was on at NeuroGlow, they made it apparent that my wellness was not their concern, only my money was. I've had the opportunity to go to 2 different NeuroGlow clinics now, and both of them are hands down the most welcoming and caring places I can imagine walking in to, and when dealing with a patient base that is admittedly dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts, the last thing they need is another gate keeper pushing them away from life-saving treatment. I can't speak highly enough of them. From the patient coordinators to the nurse practitioners, you'll be treated with care and respect.

These people do the infusion protocol right. My NP (Jennifer) is experienced and cares (has had infusions herself, which adds peace of mind). Also a great listener. This greatly helped my depression and suicidal ideation. Helped coming off my anti depressants. Actually stopped a lot of my paxil withdraw symptoms for a good period of time (everyone is different so your mileage may vary if you try infusion for these reasons). Keep in mind I started tapering off AFTER my first six infusions, and did medium dose boosters during it. They have the proper psychedelic eye covers, good playlist selections. The little things that produce good outcomes. One of the most important things that many other clinics don't do, included in the main package is the psych counselor that tells what you to expect, and how to frame your mind before your first infusion. After your first infusion you get another session with the counselor that gives you insight into your experience and how to go forward with the rest of the infusions. This is integration. I knew a good bit about this process ahead of time (my sister did infusions years ago and I learned about it from her). It is CRUCIAL for those who are starting infusions or any type of psychedelic treatments really. The only slight negative I can think of is the price, but for what you get, it's DEFINITELY worth it, especially compared to other infusion services, and ABSOLUTELY compared to other non infusion-based ketamine services.

My experience with NueroGlow was amazing I feel like a new person. Jennifer was my nurse and I was blessed with her being my main nurse, she is truly a gift from God she was wonderful and I will miss her. I also had the pleasure to meet Brittany on 2 of my sessions, such a sweet young lady.

I’ve been to many clinics and this is by far the most caring. They work extremely hard to ensure you’re comfortable during the infusions. Amazing staff!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can ketamine help with OCD?

Research on ketamine for obsessive-compulsive disorder is still emerging, but early controlled studies (including work from Rodriguez and colleagues at Columbia) suggest ketamine may produce rapid, though often temporary, reductions in obsessive symptoms by acting on the brain’s glutamate system rather than the serotonin pathway that standard OCD medications target. Individual results vary, and not all patients respond. At NeuroGlow, ketamine is used off-label for OCD as part of a broader treatment plan, typically for patients who have not responded to SSRIs or exposure therapy.

Is ketamine a first-line treatment for OCD?

No. First-line treatment for OCD is usually a combination of SSRIs and exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy. Ketamine is considered when those approaches have not provided adequate relief. During your consultation, Dr. Aaron Brown, DO reviews your history to determine whether you may be an appropriate candidate.

How many sessions will I need?

Protocols vary by patient. Many OCD patients begin with a short series of infusions and are reassessed for response, with maintenance sessions scheduled based on how long any benefit lasts. Because the evidence base is still developing, we monitor outcomes closely and adjust, and not all patients respond.

Is ketamine for OCD covered by insurance?

IV ketamine is used off-label for OCD and is self-pay. Spravato (esketamine) is FDA-approved only for treatment-resistant depression, not OCD, so it would not be covered for an OCD diagnosis. Coverage for any treatment depends on diagnosis, medical necessity, medical history, and the individual insurance plan. Our team verifies benefits before treatment begins.

Is ketamine treatment safe?

Ketamine is administered in-clinic under medical monitoring. Side effects such as dissociation, dizziness, or short-term blood-pressure changes are usually mild and resolve before you leave. You will need a ride home after each session.

Not every patient is an appropriate candidate for ketamine therapy. Treatment recommendations are individualized following a comprehensive medical evaluation by one of our providers. If you would like to learn whether ketamine therapy or Spravato® may be appropriate for your situation, schedule a consultation with a NeuroGlow provider.
